Scope

As Head of Delivery, you lead and sustain operational excellence at all levels (individual, team and company) as well as the activities that govern how work is performed. You take an active role in the implementation of the way of working and ensure that the teams fulfill their commitments.

The Head of Delivery also ensures the coordination with other departments (Manufacturing, HR, Legal, Finance, Marketing, …) and external key stakeholders (suppliers…).

Job Description

As the manager of a team of (Chief) Product Owners:

• Coach and mentor team members on business and soft skills
• Assign team members to teams to ensure the right people stand at the right place
• Help team members in reaching a high level of autonomy
• Ensure the team members are aware and adhere to Company processes and practices
• Are accountable for developing and training team member
• Are accountable for recruitment
• Ensure no one person in the team is solely accountable for any critical task or activity
• With the contribution of external stakeholders, define yearly objectives, assess team members’ achievements

As a VALUE DRIVEN leader:

• Organize and reorganize around business value and customer satisfaction
• Intervene appropriately during projects to ensure the development lifecycle is realized in accordance with the company’s short/long term priorities
• Continually focuse on eliminating waste, delays, and demotivating policies and procedures
• Create a culture of relentless improvement that provides the space required for teams to innovate

As Head of Delivery, you lead and sustain organizational change by empowering individuals and teams to reach their highest potential. You do this by learning, exhibiting, teaching, and coaching individuals and teams. You are ultimately accountable for the adoption, success, and ongoing improvement within the scope under his responsibility (Product Delivery, Engineering & Quality).

As a SERVANT LEADER:

• Are accountable for providing guidance and coaching to individuals, teams and managers; ensuring the development of the people’s competencies
• Support the related Product Managers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters and R&D Managers in their role
• Help individuals and teams to consistently deliver work in technical excellence respecting the standards the company expects and in accordance with the company priorities
• Are a People Manager preserving well-being, managing skills and improving performance

Profile

• Master degree or equivalent experience
• 5-10 years of experience in this domain
• Broadcast experience is a plus
• Experience in Scrum methodology is a plus
• Product Owner experience is a plus. Any management experience is a plus
• Strong interest in IT, familiar with common IT environments
• Structured, organized, rigorous, good communicator, decision maker
• Achieve high quality results through thoughtful analysis and planning; target driven and result oriented
• Team Management capacity and credible experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, shares information actively; responds properly, reports on-time; accepts criticism and other opinions, addresses criticism constructively
• Capable of planning and tracking the work of a team, of communicating planning and progress, of getting help where needed.
• High stress resistance does not give up in crisis; does not lose control under pressure.
• Languages : English, French
