The Head of Project Management is responsible for the development and implementation of projects and services allocated to the Project Management Team as well as the good co-operation with.

This includes the management of dependencies between the various tasks, coordination of the work progress, review and approval of technical reports and deliverables and resolution of problems of an operational, contractual and financial nature.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervisingthe work of the Project Management team and coordinate their activities on a daily basis. Organising regular meetings with the individuals in the Project Management team, reviewing project status, set and review goals, identify training needs and discuss development
  • Ensuring the correct financial managementof the Project Management Team with the support of CDR and ICF Next financial team (regular cost-controlling & monitor financial KPIs to ensure expected profitability, reporting to the LOB-lead)
  • Ensuring high qualitywork: meeting professional standards and client expectations, by ensuring Prince2 processes are applied by the project management team, by closely monitoring key projects that require a special attention (due to complexity or importance) or by assisting the Lob-lead in the resolution in due time of any critical situation that may arise.
  • Working closely with the other team managers in the setting up of project tasks forceto ensure best service delivery and smooth collaboration between the team involved.
  • Facilitating smooth and fruitful cooperationwith the Project Managers and the teams of the other expertise and brining innovative, creative and optimal solutions to clients.
  • Ensuring project management team is working at its best level by encouraging team spirit, promoting professionalismand supporting training needs.
  • Ensuring that regular reportingon clients and projects status is carried out by the Project Management Team to the Account Directors.
  • Acting as first escalation point and resolve issues and concerns raised by clients
  • Facilitating new business developmentactivities by providing strategic input, ensuring the provision of adequate resources and facilitate close collaboration with the account development and new business teams
  • Supporting recruitment effortsfor the Project Management Team by providing assistance in the definition of roles and identification of staffing needs.
  • Reporting on the performanceof the Project Management team.
  • Regular reportingto the CRD
