JOB DESCRIPTION

At the heart of our operations lies a vibrant and dedicated team, and we’re looking for a passionate HR and business administration officer to help us nurture and grow our talent. In this role, you’ll be more than just a professional; you’ll be a caretaker of our greatest asset: our people.

Overall, if you are passionate about HR administration with a strong business admin background or interest, or vice versa:

HR administration:

  • Be the backbone of our HR processes, helping us streamline personnel administration.
  • Act as a bridge between our HR vision and office dynamics, ensuring a seamless blend of people management and administrative excellence.
  • Spearhead the automation of HR processes: covering payroll, benefits, compensation, benefits, and on/off-boarding.
  • Keep the pulse on vital HR initiatives, from talent development to reward systems, ensuring everyone’s growth journey is on track and celebrated.
  • Follow up on the status and reporting of mobility budgets.
  • Champion the clarity and standardization of HR documents, fostering a culture of transparency and understanding across our organization.

Business administration:

  • Support into financial controlling: from invoicing to payment management & subsidy filing.
  • Keep consultant contracts up to date and manage timesheets and deal flows.
  • Company dashboarding: turning data into insights that guide our business strategy & opex.
  • Flex your Excel and Google Sheets muscles, for financial data analysis and control.

REQUIRED COMPETENCES & SKILLS

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in business administration/management or hr/office management.
  • You don’t have to bring years of experience to the job as you will be trained by our HR&BA manager.
  • 1-3 years experience in HR administration or financial reporting/controlling.
  • Proven administrative, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interest in procedure optimization & data.
  • People-oriented with strong communication skills.
  • Interest in the life sciences and tech-driven consultancy.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and changing priorities.
  • Excellent proficiency in Dutch and English (French is a plus).
