Your function

In your role as HR Business Partner team lead you report directly to the Head of HR Belgium.
  • You are responsible for people related matters and projects in the country (such as performance management, retention, new ways of working, integration & harmonization, improvement of processes, etc.) ensuring the implementation of policies, procedures and guidelines is both Worldline compliant and in line with current employment law, country strategy and demanded timelines.
  • You do this together with an HR Business Partner team of 5 enthusiastic professionals. You act as a team lead for this team, you work with the team on a daily basis, coach them where needed and support them in their questions and their development. You coordinate project & process work as required.
  • You have as well your own HR Business Partner scope to manage. In this role, your mission is to safeguard the human approach by offering high-added value services to support the business in attaining its goal as a strategic HR Business Partner. You offer a framework for change & transformation and support Worldline management in guiding their team members during their career lifecycle.
Your Day-to-day Responsibilities Include
  • You deploy Worldline group HR processes and policies locally, taking into account the specificities of each local legislation and national culture.
  • You implement & manage HR projects & processes cross-business line.
  • You advice stakeholders (internal or external) about the frame of local legislation, proactively raise eventual constraints and mitigation to be considered, in order to ensure compliance.
  • You act as single point of the contact for the business managers in your scope of work with whom you build a strong business relationship.
  • You support the development of people strategies that are designed to meet business objectives, linked to talent management for example
  • You provide general HR advice on company policy, support in operational solutions to help & facilitate the business with more complex people issues.
  • You act as an interface with the Talent Acquisition (recruitment) team. You coordinate recruitment activities and the offering and onboarding process of new staff. You support the management team to bring best solutions for employees and support the recruitment of key talents.
  • You overview performance reviews, talent reviews and conclude succession plans.
  • You explain the global framework for career progression, using our internal tools.
  • You accompany employees in their journey to find a new challenge within Worldline
  • You provide general HR advice on company policies, support in operational solutions to help the business with more complex people issues.
  • You advise & coach management and employees on the accurate application of appropriate HR policies.
  • You advise management on how to implement retention and motivation methodologies in accordance with company policies.
  • You challenge the organizational structure and propose changes
  • You report the progress of your activities towards business & HR management in a structured manner.
  • You manage and coach the HR BP team on a daily basis

Skills We Can’t Do Without
  • You have a Master Degree
  • You have at least 3years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • You have people management experience, you are confident in coordinating a team
  • You are fluent in English, Dutch & French
  • You have strong communication skills, both written and spoken
  • You have experience in providing support and advice to management on operational HR activities and dealing with complex people issues, towards a successful realization of business goals and employee motivation.
  • You possess deep knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations, HR concepts and expertise.
  • You have a strong labor market understanding.
  • You possess sophisticated knowledge of Human Resources Management, Finance and a good economic culture.
  • You are a hands-on, pro- active team player, who is client and solutions oriented.
  • You have a critical, analytic mind and possess of good problem-solving skills
  • You are well organized, stress-resistant and you are flexible and able to meet challenging deadlines
  • You are able to work effectively on MS-office tool

  • You are able to synthesize & communicate on executive level.
  • You possess of negotiation skills and you are able to persuade and convince in a diplomatic way, without exercising authority.
