Reporting the the Senior HR Manager, the HR Generalistwill support the CGT activities and be responsible for supporting the development, implementation and administration of all aspects of Human Resources services for the Gosselies Cell Therapy site.

The Role

The HR Generalist will assist in the management of day-to-day activities related to HR activities, specifically in the following areas: staffing, new hire orientation, policy and program administration, HR data collection, employee relations, performance and talent management, employee engagement, training, benefits, and HR regulatory compliance. The HR Generalist will partner with employees, business leaders and HR colleagues to support the business needs

  • You provide day to day HR services to employees and business leaders on HR topics relating to work relationships, productivity and retention.
  • You participate to varied HR projects together with other HR colleagues working in Learning & Development, Talent & Acquisition, Payroll and administrative department...: Play an active role as the HR-specialist in business projects, implement local HR projects to support the HR strategy of Gosselies site
  • You ensure correct application of social legislation by maintaining in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • In collaboration with your colleagues from the HR and Finance department, you collect specific HR metrics allowing you to give advice and recommendations, actions to the management (payroll evolution, hirings, absenteeism, turnover...)
  • You support management in the implementation of the various processes (PMP,JR management...)
  • You partner with hiring managers to identify current and future personnel needs; Perform analysis of hiring needs with the hiring managers and collect employee hiring forecast for various projects and staff development actions (e.g. recruitment planning, promotion, internal mobility, training program and development programs, ...)
  • You partner with Talent Acquisition to fill vacancies in a timely manner and coordinate the recruitment, selection and integration process of new hires
  • You participate (in collaboration with TA) in employment events: visit job/career fairs at Schools or universities, organize session with local training centers (cell therapy) to promote Catalent
  • You contribute to the development and implementation in collaboration with the management and the HRD, HR senior Manager of coherent HR policies covering domains such as compensation policy, employment policy, workforce planning, organizational design
  • You contribute, in collaboration with the HRD and HR Senior Manager, in the development of the short- and medium-term HR strategy (annual HR plan)
  • You prepare input for budget files and HC forecast
  • You represent the company culture and values across all the organization

The Candidate

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 - 4 years working in an HR capacity
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, federal and provincial employment laws
  • Relevant industry experience a plus i.e. in a pharmaceutical, manufacturing and/or GMP facility
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with colleagues
  • Focus on the data accuracy

  • Good judgment and ethics - Empowered to handle confidential information
  • Excellent computer skills : MS Office, especially Excel; payroll software; HR systems (Workday), Time & Attendance systems

  • Ability to analyze data, and provide requested information
