Your challenges

As Internal Technical Project Manager (Specifications), you will be responsible for the technical support for rooflight and glass construction projects and you will join our skilled and dedicated Back Office Team. Together with your colleagues you will be tasked with devising offers and you will act as a specialist when it comes to technical drawings. In consultation with customers and architects you will develop concrete daylight and ventilation solutions for them. In this role, you will report to the Back Office Manager for Belgium, and you will be based at our office in Wavre.

Your primary tasks include:

• Employing your product knowledge and creative thinking to recommend appropriate technical solutions to our customers
• Ensuring that (potential) customers are provided the right product solution and associated technical information and/or drawings
• Reading and analysing specifications and technical architectural plans
• Creating idea sketches and preliminary drafts, options, variants
• Supporting your colleagues in Sales with technical clarification, so they are prepared for consultations with different project stakeholders (architects, (sub) contractors, planners, suppliers and installers) – across all service phases, you will provide technical support in coordination with the responsible sales colleagues and project managers
• Maintaining project data for the respective area of responsibility
• Acting as the central technical point of contact for your colleagues in Belgium and at an international level

Your qualifications

You are resourceful and keen on taking initiative. Where others may see problems, you see opportunities and solutions. Besides that, you work effectively both on your own and with colleagues to achieve company targets and goals. You are change-oriented and see the benefit in doing things differently to achieve goals.

In addition, we expect that you:

• Have a technical bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree in engineering/technical design or work experience that can be equated to these types of degrees
• Master (3D) AutoCad and preferably REVIT and/or Archicad and ideally have experience with BIM (3D modeling)
• Are service- and solution-oriented
• Are independent, future-oriented and have experience working on larger projects
• Speak Dutch and French and have a good knowledge of the English language, command of the German language is a plus
