  • You are fluent in English (TME business language)
  • You are enrolled into a master in Engineering/Data Science/Statistics
  • You are familiar with programming languages (eg R, Python) and data manipulation & visualization (eg Tableau, Power BI)
  • You are strong in logical thinking, reporting and have strong planning & organization skills
  • You have a strong interest in automotive and electronics systems

Your team and your responsibilities:
Team/division description
In Electronics Engineering, we are responsible to develop future instrument clusters & multimedia units. Due to increased vehicle functionality (autonomous driving, bigger displays, advanced connectivity,…) and due to trends in other industries (eg mobile phones), there is a strong need to improve the UX/UI of our systems. One way to tackle this, is to gain insights from big data collected from customer vehicles to identify customer behaviours and needs.

Your project
As intern, you will contribute to improve Toyota cockpit UX/UI through:
  • Checking available big data signal list & make proposal for ideas which could be studied further based on the available signals
  • Analysing the actual data to identify/classify driver behaviour or potential needs, utilizing data science and machine learning in Python.
  • Summarizing findings & creating proposals towards UX/UI improvement

We can only accept students with an EEA or Swiss citizenship (not requiring a work permit or visa to be eligible to perform an internship in Belgium)
