In Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations (D365FO), Microsoft has introduced the concept of "OneVersion" or "Continuous Updates". This implies that every customer will operate on the same, latest version of the application and new versions will be pushed within a certain timeframe.

To facilitate this, Microsoft has come up with a new tool, called Regression Suite Automation Tool (RSAT). This tool is intended to automate regression tests, which can be used to re-test the newest updates (either from Microsoft, ISV’s or customizations) based on the test cases that were recorded in D365FO.

We are now looking for an awesome intern that can join our team starting with September 2021 until August 2022.

The idea of this internship is to get acquainted with RSAT and provide a set of generic test cases that can be used across projects.

This internship will also include the use and knowledge of:
  • Dynamics Lifecycle Services (LCS) & Business Process Modeler (BPM): used to setup the testing process hierarchy and attach task recordings.
  • (Azure) DevOps: this tool is used to manage test cases, test plans, test suites and eventually test runs.
  • D365FO: ERP used to create a generic set of task recordings, which will result in test cases within DevOps.
PROFILE

The profile we’re looking for to facilitate this, is a person with functional insights in process hierarchies and testing. You’ll kind of serve in the role of a test manager, in order to create and manage the generic test cases with the tools provided.
