Job Description:

As a Senior IT Expert, you will:

· Support AI integration into semantic interoperability in collaboration with the JRC (GPT@JRC)and AI@EC, focusing on agentic AI.

· Coordinate the implementation of the Semantic Registry of Data Modelson the EU Open Data Portal, together with the Publications Office.

· Provide technical support to SEMICin areas such as:

· EU policy support and interoperability assessments

· SDGR/OOTS compliance and Data Spacesintegration

· Toolchain benchmarking and open-source solutions for data modelling

· Oversee semantic activities within the Digital Europe Programme (DEP).

· Support adoption of Linked Data Event Streams (LDES)and alignment with EU standards.

· Contribute to the evolution of DCAT-APand its adoption in Data Spaces.

· Create blog content on modelling best practices and support SEMIC webinars and workshops.

Minimum Requirements (Must-Haves)

Education:

· Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or ICT

Experience & Expertise:

At least 8 yearsof hands-on experience in:

· Semantic methodologies(Linked Data, Metadata modelling)

· OWL, RDF, SKOS, SHACL, XML

· Strong knowledge of Semantic Transformation

· Proven expertise with AI & Machine Learning models, especially involving agents

Communication:

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· A track record of technical talksand/or publications
