Job Purpose

Bridgestone is looking for an IT Infra Network Service Manager to own end-to-end responsibility for the EM I A (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region network to ensure a robust service delivery in line with business expectations. Close collaboration with our network outsourcing partner is key.

The IT Infra Network Service Manager is responsible for quality, performance, finances, design and evolution of the network. In this role he or she acts as the prime business contact responsible for the service quality and cost of their service(s) at any stage of the service lifecycle. You will closely work with management, project teams, and service providers to ensure that changes are delivered as expected and the service is running as per agreement.

The network consists of WAN (datacenter, headquarter, regional headquarters, plants and 1 5 0 retail shops), LAN (wired and wireless), network security ( Zs cal e r, firewalls) MS TEAMS and unified communication (IP telephony, call centers, video conferencing). Network service Manager will lead the network transformation to a cloud native environment.

Main Responsibilities

NETWORK Operations Service Quality NETWORK Business Operations Service Cost and Budget

• Manage the Service Level Agreements with our current partners and aligned with our business expectations.
• Main contact with external service provider for day to day operations.
• Provide support to project and subject matter expert in the network area
• Be key person in scope extension of the network (like to the Emirates, South-Africa etc.)
• Act as prime customer contact for all services-related enquiries and issues
• Provide service delivery status in IT business alignment meetings and other stakeholders
• Act as the service escalation point for all the critical activities in the network.
• Connect with technical service managers and Architects to understand technical service delivery failures and improvement plans in order to improve the Network service delivery and report back to the business and reporting Manager.
• Service delivery: ensure that the ongoing service delivery and support meet agreed customer requirements.
• Ensure the alignments of SLAs , KPIs on Network services to meet the requirements.
• Monthly reviews: evaluate against SLA, identify service improvement requirements, validate the plan & deliverables as per contract and define the financial bonus / malus
• Identify opportunities for Network operational service improvements.
• Management reporting to facilitate effective service monitoring and performance.
• Solicit required data, statistics and reports for analysis and to facilitate effective Network service monitoring and performance.
• Do monthly accrual, MBR, develop and plan the yearly and mid-term budget.
• Control the service cost and do follow-up of the variances between actuals and budget.
  

Network Transition and Transformation

• Lead Network transition project with excellent coordination with Network Project manager and Network provider.
• Liaise with the appropriate process owners throughout the Service Management lifecycle.
  

Infrastructure and Cloud

• Manage the cloud network infrastructure with main focus on Azure network.
• Lead the network transformation to cloud native environment that will include On-Prem and Multi-Cloud connectivity management.
• Datacenter migration to cloud.
  

Requirements

• Master in IT, Computer Sciences or BS/MS degree in IT or related field.
• >7 years of professional IT experience
• CCNP Certification would be plus
• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Network technologies.
• Working experience of Infrastructure (Datacenter and Cloud)
• Azure certification is not required but it will be a plus
• Ability to influence and motivate teammates
• Good communicator, with excellent interpersonal skills; must be able to communicate to different levels of the organization, with both technical and non-technical people.
• Have a Can-Do mentality
• Fluent in English, any other European language is a plus
