Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer - French Speaking

Location: Within 45 minutes of Wavre

About the Role: Join our dynamic team to manage and troubleshoot an advanced IT environment featuring Windows Server (NT4-2022), Active Directory, backup and storage solutions, all within a virtualized setup using VMware (2.5-6.x) and Nutanix. This role offers the excitement of working on small projects, enhancing ITSM processes on ServiceNow, and ensuring the security and maintenance of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead small projects to support application installations and ITSM processes on ServiceNow.
  • Manage change and incident processes for a large portfolio of applications in a regulated medical environment.
  • Focus on Windows, VM, and hardware management, with an understanding of dependencies on application servers, databases, networks, and firewalls.
  • Maintain strict documentation standards in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in system administration.
  • Essential skills: Project management, ITSM, ServiceNow, Windows Server and AD (NT-2022), monitoring, patching, hardening, physical servers/blades, storage, stakeholder and 3rd party management, regulatory documentation.
  • Must be French-speaking and willing to participate in an on-call schedule (1 week every 6 weeks).

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with databases (MSSQL, Oracle), application servers, networking, and firewalls.

Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Certified Engineer or equivalent experience.

Travel: No travel required.
