For one of our client, a multinational company, fast growing company active in the field of medical equipment and IT solutions, Hays Brussels is looking for a Java back-end developer to join their next-generation platform team.

What you will be doing

  • You will work on the implementation of the new version products, which brings together on-premises installations and cloud services.
  • Your role will be to identify needs, select and validate the right technologies to implement the solution.
  • You will follow the best market standards with cutting-edge technologies
  • You will work in an agile team that is focus on knowledge sharing and successful product delivery.
  • You will mainly work on the back-end side of the applications in Java (Spring) and a bit on the front-end (React)

Our client

Our client is a fast growing medical equipment company specialized in IT solution for the medical world (Digital Pathology and Healthcare Business Intelligence solutions).

The company’s solutions enable healthcare facilities, private practices and OEM partners to manage their medical imaging and healthcare data more efficiently.

Thus our client develops and markets innovative medical imaging software and healthcare business intelligence solutions.

What we are looking for

  • You have a degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
  • You have proven experience if minimum 3 years in Java
  • You have ideally a first experience with any front-end framework
  • You can work independently but also in a team.
  • You are flexible, involved and eager to improve patient care while understanding the responsibilities that come with it.
  • You speak French and you have a good English.
  • The following skills or experience are a plus: Medical imaging, DICOM / HL7, Spring, Microservices, JavaScript, DevOps.
