The Product Line Personal Health, headquartered in Leuven, develops application specific IC’s and accompanying software for use in “Hearing Aids and Implants”- and “Personal Health monitoring” applications. Next to IC’s and software, we develop, maintain and support silicon IP (branded CoolFlux IP).

The main value drivers for our products are power dissipation (battery life time), system level integration (miniaturization), DSP processing power and programmability, and communication range.

Job Description:

  • You will be responsible for the implementation, documentation and verification of the Digital IP modules, according to the overall specification as defined by the system- and/or IC–architect.
  • You will be responsible for the proper integration of the Silicon IP modules into the top-level IC design.
  • You will contribute to the IC verification and validation.
  • You will support a structured project approach and will be part of a team.
  • You will expand your knowledge and experience permanently

Expectations:

  • Degree qualified in Electronic Engineering.
  • You have strong affinity with, and above all you are enthusiastic to learn on digital IC design.
  • You would like to work with IC design tools for simulation, synthesis, timing analysis till power simulations.
  • You have an interest in application of the IC’s in a prototype set up and you are interested in Ultra Low Power IC design aspects.
  • Notions about wireless communication systems and/or audio processing.
  • Willing to work in a project organization, compliant with ISO9001 and CMMI standards.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team as well as independently.
