We are currently looking for a Junior Accountant to join a structured yet friendly company in Asse!

Location: Asse city center

Salary: €2,000 – €2,600 gross per month

Your Role as a Junior Accountant

Responsibilities

In this position, you will have a varied and challenging set of responsibilities. You will support our clients in their complete administrative and tax processes, including:

  • Processing and booking documents such as purchase and sales invoices, bank transactions, salaries, and expenses
  • Preparing and drafting VAT returns and corporate tax filings
  • Preparing annual financial statements
  • Compiling annual client lists and assisting with VAT refunds and withholding tax
  • Creating interim reports and financial analyses
  • Working with innovative accounting software such as Exact Online, Clearfacts, and Silverfin

Your Profile

  • Strong interest and good knowledge of accounting and taxation
  • Analytical, critical, and solution-oriented mindset
  • Eager to learn and open to continuous training and career growth
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Taxation or a Master’s in Business Economics
  • Fluency in Dutch; knowledge of French is a plus
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a similar role
