Your future job

As a Junior Data Scientist at Melexis, you will be part of the team that develops machine learning models to address a wide variety of business challenges, ranging from manufacturing and quality to development and finance. You will cover the full end-to-end AI project flow: collecting data, developing models and deployment to production.

More specifically, you will:

  • Analyse data to inform the development of AI models.
  • Construct datasets that can be used in AI model training pipelines.
  • Participate in the development and deployment of ML models.
  • Act as AI subject matter expert for other departments.
  • Produce innovative, dynamic data visualisations to help deliver quantitative insights.
  • Contribute to advancing the state-of-the art in the application of ML in the microelectronics industry.

Your profile

  • You hold a Master degree in Mathematics or Computer Science, with a specialisation in Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning.
  • You are fluent in English, and you have excellent communication skills (both
  • verbal and written).
  • You are passionate about data science, and you like to keep track of the latest trends in the field.
