Yield is a measure indicating the ratio of the good production output to input of raw materials. The higher the yield performance, the more efficient the material transformation. The basic approach to increase yield is to avoid any material losses. Minimising product waste or unwanted losses during processing is key to each efficient manufacturing process. It contributes to reducing costly energy consumption, raw materials, ... resulting in a more sustainable and profitable business. In any manufacturing organisation, many stakeholders are involved: production, quality, sales, supply chain,... We are looking forward to welcoming a yield performance analyst for our team in Genk to boost yield performance as a sustainable competitive advantage.

You contribute to our success

You’ll accompany all involved parties (supply chain, production, quality, sales,...) in their in-depth

understanding of the dynamics to master yield performance pro-actively.

● You maintain excellent relationships with all involved parties

● You’ll make sure all relevant data are tracked throughout the production process and available for analysis

● You take the lead in an advanced yield follow-up in a project based approach.

● You promote yield awareness by providing KPI dashboards for all involved parties (PowerBI)

● You analyse data to identify opportunities to improve yield performance

● You’ll work on predictive analytics to detect potential yield losses

You are a top candidate if

● You recently completed a master degree in engineering, mathematics, data science or related discipline

● You have strong analytical and critical thinking skills

● You are an excellent creative problem solver and show initiative for improvement

● You love to work in an agile cross functional and multi-cultural team

● You are self motivational with a passion to learn and keep up with the fast changing environment

● You demonstrate sound judgement in ranking competing priorities

● You are a collaborative verbal and written communicator

● You speak Dutch and English, other Aperam languages (French / German / ...) are a plus
