DPS Group is a global engineering, consulting, and project management company, serving high-tech industries around the world. DPS delivers services for clients across the complete engineering and construction value chain including feasibility studies, concepts, consulting, architecture, engineering, procurement, construction management, commissioning, qualification and validation, as well as client-side technical services.

This project will operate in the EPP (Experimental Pilot Plant), a process lab which simulates sterile manufacturing activities and contains both complex production and analytical systems.

The EPP which is a part of Pfizer Global Technology & Engineering (GT&E), supports Pfizer and CMO manufacturing organizations with long and short term technical projects focused towards market supply, product trouble shooting and trouble avoidance, implementation of new technologies and regulatory expectations.

Within the EPP, a lab team of around ten colleagues is responsible for the execution of small scale production simulations, analytical testing and day to day lab operations. Within this team you will be responsible for a wide range of (improvement) projects within the lab.

Scope of work:

• responsible for projects increasing the quality of the analytical and production activities in collaboration with the lab specialists. This includes root cause analysis, trending, documentation, implementation of improvements and follow up.
• responsible for (the coordination of) safety related projects within the lab team in collaboration with the safety coordinator.
• responsible for the maintenance of the document flow and the training system.
• help improve the working of the lab by supporting improvement projects and actively seek out improvement opportunities.
• support the expansion of our lab capabilities by assisting in acquiring and qualifying new equipment.

Background & profile

• Master degree in a relevant scientific discipline or similar through experience.
• 2 years of experience in a pharmaceutical/biotech laboratory environment.
• Experience in six sigma projects is a plus.
• A basic understanding of GMP, qualification, validation and regulatory activities.
• Fluent in Dutch/English
