Nature of the task

  • The typical tasks as TE will be (non-exhaustive list, complementing the list drawn in the framework contract):
  • Manage housed Linux VMs
  • Tuning, scripting regular actions
  • Monitor correct operations of the systems and perform error detection tests
  • Conduct computer diagnostics to determine nature of problems
  • Interface with DIGIT for backup and restore operations
  • Supervise access security at all levels (users - credentials, RBAC -, network protocols)
  • Apply security procedures
  • Carry out capacity analysis and system evaluation
  • Manage the information system environments (production, test, development), including the application servers
  • Basic DB/DWH management and ETL management tasks.
  • Produce technical documentation and procedures
  • Collaborate with DIGIT on incident management
  • Proactively propose improvement actions for the hosting and housing services

Mandatory knowledge and skills:

  • Linux administration
  • Shell scripting (Korn / Bash / Bourne)
  • Apache web server configuration
  • Java / Tomcat deployment and management
  • DevOps administration (Jenkins/Bambu)
  • IP Networking: knowledge in protocols, firewall, DMZ

The following training would be and asset: Linux administration, SQL language knowledge.
