JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Manager, Advanced Analytics in our European region.
In this role, you will be a part of the Global Marketplace Insights team. You will partner with regional stakeholders to understand key issues, develop measurement solutions, share and implement analytical insights, and influence strategies in areas such as - but not limited to - marketing investment allocation, pricing, and store testing. You will help shape the analytics priorities and roadmap for the global advanced analytics team, respective to your geography.
You should have a strong track record of partnering with diverse teams and functions, developing strong and effective work relationships, translating issues into insights, and a passion for driving business results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with Insights and business partners to determine key research needs
- Manages planning, development of deliverables, and delivery of integrated analyses, reporting or perspectives in a manner that is clear, compelling, and actionable
- Aids decision making through rigorous analysis that integrates a spectrum of internal and external resources. Proactively identifies risks and opportunities.
- Proactively identify measurement opportunities based on changing marketplace demands and business needs
- Delivers timely and integrated analyses leveraging various types of research and data sources to provide an understanding of the external environment affecting the brands, and key actions management/business partners should take to win in a rapidly changing and increasingly competitive marketplace.
- Partner with regional and global partners to ensure actionable consumer and marketplace insights
Skills & Qualifications:
- 2-5 years’ experience in consumer goods and/or supplier side analytics or insights team required
- Experience or familiarity in full range of quantitative market research methods, including advanced statistical techniques (conjoint, regression, factor and cluster analysis)
- Ability to help business partners frame key issues and integrate, interpret, and synthesize a wide array of data to form clear, actionable recommendations
- Ability to operate in a collaborative, team-based, performance-driven manner
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and dealing with ambiguous situations
- Excellent influencing skills, including strong written and oral communication.
- Fluency in verbal and written English required.
- Familiarity with various European markets desired
Education
- University degree in relevant field (Marketing, Data/Analytics, Psychology, Economics/Statistics); advanced degree in Business (MBA) or Social Sciences advantageous
Location:
- Headquarters for this position is in Brussels although this position may be located in a major European metropolitan city location for the right candidate
- Must be willing and comfortable to travel if requested
