We are looking to strengthen our team with a Manager, with experience and passion to help our government make impact with data and with a special focus on our clients in the Walloon region. We expect the right candidate to manage our client projects from the inception phase to their final implementation and dissemination. You will be supporting our strategic goals and business development in government.

Our services to the government in the domain of analytics & data is a strong growing business. The current team has an ambitious growth plan and is looking for good colleagues.

Your responsibilities:

Business development & sales:

You will take on a leading role in growing Deloitte Artificial Intelligence & Data footprint by excellent services for governments in the Walloon region.

Through a combination of your knowledge of the government, passion for particular policy domains and expertise in data and analytics, you will drive business development in the segment of Government/Public Sector with a special focus on Walloon institutions. This means you will have a responsibility in sharing your point of view on the importance of data for governments, exploring business needs for which the government is asking for support, defining project proposals and presenting them to client leadership. You will establish long term and trusted relationships with our clients in governments.

Delivering ‘analytics & cognitive’ transformation projects at clients

You will be responsible for driving our projects for governments to a success and delivering impactful strategies and transformation projects in a broad set of domains: evidence based policy, establishing data strategies, data literacy and culture, building and managing data ecosystems, democratization of insights via business intelligence and visual dashboards for a broad set of stakeholders, open data, data governance, improving data management, next-generation analytics and technologies, including the use of big data, cloud, and machine learning.

Team leadership

You will be part of the Artificial Intelligence & Data Team and commit to being a team player.

You will contribute to coaching, attracting and retaining talent while clearly leading by example. As a manager in a fast-growing and diverse group of skilled people, you will support that we continue to develop the skills of younger colleagues on projects and internal initiatives.

With a passion for societal impact and the challenges of the government, you can inspire younger colleagues for the same topics.

Your Profile

• You have a minimum of 7 years’ experience, in consulting, business development and/or public sector management.
• You have specific experience in one or more domains described in this job offer.
• You have a good understanding what it takes to generate value with data and solving the underlying challenges.
• You have a true willingness and ability to work as part of an integrated, enthusiastic and multi-disciplinary team.
• You are fluent in French and English, skills in Dutch or other languages can be relevant but not mandatory.
