As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for
  • The operation of a production unit within a Manufacturing Production Unit (MPU)
  • Activities and resources engaged in the production process and for their continuous optimisation
  • You also coordinate manpower targets, resources and skills
  • You evaluate capacities (employees and machines) necessary to the completion of the production plan
  • You are involved in the coordination of supply and demand
These Responsibilities Include Some Of The Following

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career.
  • Supervise / manage day to day production operations (cell and viral culture) and ensure adherence to production plan
  • Lead a team of technicians/operators (< 15 FTE) and collaborate with production colleagues
  • Responsible to implement the Operational Excellence Process in his area/ group, including TIER meetings , KPI definition and follow up, problem solving, etc.
  • Ensure compliance of the operations with GMP and Authorities requirements. Monitor quality of the production in close collaboration with QC and take corrective actions when necessary
  • Act as a key interlocutor in your discipline between the manufacturing Unit and other services (as Engineering / Supply / QC / QA / RA)
  • Coordinate specific projects of improvement to ensure quality, efficiency, productivity, security and simplification
  • Apply the recommended processes and anticipate potential improvements of the current processes while assuring compliance with the Change Management procedures
  • Represent your activities in internal and external audits/inspections
  • Organize and monitor performance progress efficiency of the facility through Key Performance Indicators related to Security, Quality, Budget and Delivery.
  • Provide technical support , mentoring and coaching to direct reports in order support their day to day operations and difficulties
Why you?

Basic Qualifications

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Bio Engineering, Science-related (Chemistry, etc.) or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a production environment and in a supervisory role in GMP environment
  • Fluent in French
Preferred Qualifications

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
  • You have a Master’s degree in Engineering, Bio Engineering, Science-related (Chemistry, etc.)
  • Experience in a leadership role (team of minimum 10 FTE i.e. experienced and autonomous technical profiles)
  • You set direction, inspire and engage your team
  • You onboard and develop your team members
  • Highly motivated and self-driven with a desire to continuously improve own skill set
  • Strong planification and organisational skills
  • Able to adapt to changing assignments
  • Good level of written and spoken English
