Arhs Developments is looking for a Senior Manual Tester for one of its clients at the European Institutions in Brussels.

Role & Responsibilities

• Identify and elaborate test cases in collaboration with application developers, analysts and business representatives and support to the construction of test scenarios and scripts.
• Manual execution of test scenarios and scripts on different platforms and browsers of the integrated systems, including defect creation and defect follow-up;
• Analysis of test results;
• Execution of assigned tasks and recording of daily progress within the supporting planning tools;
• Reporting and presentation of work progress;
• Advice on quality improvements;

Your Profile

• Degree in Computer Science
• Capable to communicate effectively with different actors involved (testers, developers, management etc.)
• Quick learning ability is required, being organized, versatile and a results-oriented team player

Knowledge & Skills

• Good knowledge of testing methodologies and tools, especially in the context of manual testing
• Experience in testing information systems business processes (finance, procurements and accounting)
• Good knowledge of IS quality assurance and quality control practices
• Good experience with quality procedures
• Ability to understand requirements analysis and application for web applications and web services (UML)
• Understanding of relational databases (Oracle) and service testing using SOAPUI (WSDL, XSD understanding)
• Good knowledge of information systems lifecycle
• Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g. RUP, Agile)
• Knowledge of automated tools would be considered an asset
• ISTQB certified would be considered an asset
