About the role

As our new Marketing Coordinator, you will be a central part of our team of Marketing Managers and specialists. You will be working daily from the KILROY office in Ghent, but you will also be in daily contact with the HQ in Copenhagen to coordinate and collaborate on assignments. It’s a split role where you will both have local marketing responsibility for KILROY Belgium, while also working on exciting projects and campaigns together with the other team members (shared across markets). It’s a demanding role with high expectations, but also a unique opportunity to learn new skills and help young travelers to get more perspective on life through travel.

We expect you to have a few years of relevant work experience, but your drive and commitment to grow in the role are seen just as important.

Your key responsibilities will be

• Assist with creating the annual plan of local marketing activities in your market
• Content creation and monitoring of SoMe channels (Facebook, Instagram, Youtube)
• Production of new blog posts and frequent updates on our website to increase traffic and conversion rates
• Manage and execute KILROY Store activities (from ordering store materials to organizing in-house events)
• Adjusting SEO and Google Ads in collaboration with our MarTech team
• Monitor local marketing spend throughout the year in accordance with the agreed budget
• Continuously analyze your performance and make tweaks to improve performance
• Taking part of the local management team and being the bridge-builder between sales and marketing
• Translating and localizing content from English

• You are fluent in both Flemish-Dutch and English
• You are dual-focused, you deliver on daily tasks while also being able to think ahead
• You are well-organized and able to manage multiple responsibilities and assignments simultaneously
• You are self-driven, contribute with innovative ideas and embrace challenges
• You have a strong sense of ownership and accountability in everything you do
• You have a critical eye for details in design, brand, and aesthetics
• You are proficient in using Photoshop and video editing tools (recommended)
• You are comfortable in front of a camera (e.g. when hosting webinars)
• You are a traveler at heart with plenty of travel experience
• You are friendly, social, and would love to work in a young and international environment
