We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our Air Intake Systems team within Mobile Solutions, supporting global OEM customers in agricultural, construction, and transportation markets. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys diverse technical tasks, close collaboration, and direct customer interaction in an international environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned customers from a technical perspective, ensuring high-quality support and communication.
  • Coordinate the application, customization, and integration of air intake products for original equipment (OE) customers, including benchmarking and product testing activities.
  • Provide engineering support to large-scale development programs, including test planning, organizing test components, and reviewing results.
  • Deliver technical assistance to sales teams, customers, and field users while ensuring compliance related engineering tasks.
  • Develop and present new technical proposals and concepts to customers supporting new project opportunities.

Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time across Europe.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience, with strong understanding of fluid dynamics and general electro-mechanics/combustion engines.
  • Knowledge of materials and processing methods (plastics, metals, seals, adhesives) and basic project management experience.
  • Fluent written and spoken English with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Requirements

  • Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • Additional language skills (French, Dutch, or German)
  • Familiarity with DFSS, Kaizen, or APQP methodologies.
  • Experience with injection molding or related manufacturing processes.
