Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize mechanical components and complex assemblies using CREO PTC and other CAD platforms.
• Innovate and validate electrical harness designs, including cable routing, connector selection, and integration into mechanical structures.
• Manage design data, revisions, and Bill of Materials (BOM) through Windchill PLM systems, ensuring full traceability and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical, software, manufacturing, systems, and quality) to ensure seamless mechanical-electrical integration and feasibility.
• Conduct design validation and support product testing to ensure performance, reliability, and adherence to regulatory and customer specifications.
• Apply best practices in GD&T, 3D modeling, and drawing standards to generate accurate and manufacturable documentation.
• Investigate and resolve design issues through root cause analysis, supporting continuous improvement and lean engineering initiatives.
• Maintain high-quality technical documentation including design specifications, test procedures, and assembly instructions.
• Stay current with industry trends and technological advances in mechanical and electrical system design
  
  

Qualifications

• Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant field
• Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of specialized experience in mechanical engineering, particularly in supporting manufacturing or design processes
• Possess exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
• Demonstrate proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) and various engineering software
• Familiarity with CATIA or CREO software is preferred
• Demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
• Possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Fluent French plus either English or Dutch
