Description/ purpose of business unit and team

The Oncology medical affairs team at Pfizer is a highly motived team that aims to be part of Pfizer’s purpose “delivering breakthroughs that change patients’ lives” through internal and external collaborations in a culture of trust, open communication and X-functional working.

The Position

• The Medical Advisor – Oncology will be responsible to develop strategic partnerships with internal and external key stakeholders during the entire lifecycle of Pfizer Oncology products
• She/ he provides focused relevant information in response to customer-stated needs in order to maintain a therapeutic leadership position and meet business objectives at the national, regional, and corporate level
• Acts on national level and is a key member of the Mid-Size Markets MSE
• She/ He will work in a cross-functional, national and international team to maximize the value of Pfizer portfolio in country and at regional level cluster
• She/ He acts according to the high standards of compliance, ethics, and safety of Pfizer products
• This is an individual contributor role.
• Possible location(s) : Brussels. For this position we do not offer relocation.

Your skills

A MD or a PhD (biochemist, pharmacist)

Knowledge of the therapeutic and market context is a plus

A good understanding of:

• Process of drug development

• Clinical research as well as the ability to critically evaluate clinical studies and publication

• the national and regional health environment including its structure, policy, key members and scientific societies

Fluent in business English and local languages

Engaged and motivated personality willing to improve the outcome of cancer patients
