Operations Manager

In this role you will be responsible for the Back End Sales team, Technical Sales Support team and project managers/project engineers, in Robotics Benelux, ensuring quotation support, order handling/execution and project execution. Also the robot training activity is part of your responsibility. You will directly report to the Business Manager.

Your responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Back End Sales employees supporting sales and customers with quotations, order handling and execution.
  • Lead a team of Technical experts providing technical and product support to Front End Sales and End customers
  • Lead a team of project managers/project engineers providing quotations support and executing projects
  • Lead and organize the robot training activity in order to support complete offering and growth
  • Focuses on timely and complete quotes, clean order registration and execution and minimize the # of manual sales order changes due to inconsistent master data.
  • Organization and Focus on timely and complete support from technical support team.
  • Ensures all groups follow all necessary processes and requirements in a timely manner.
  • Prepare optimization plans to increase operational excellence and external/internal customer’s satisfaction.
  • Ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed and directed. Builds an effective, capable and high performing organization.

Your background

  • Experience in a leadership role in Sales and/or Sales Support or project management is a pro
  • Knowledgeable in the Discrete Automation industry field with a strong understanding of the Robotization.
  • Well-developed communication, influencing, coaching and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical
  • Established mindset towards continuous improvement and process refinement
  • Sound knowledge of robots, robot applications is necessary
  • Electrical and mechanical Engineering background
  • Fluent in Dutch, French and English (spoken and written).
  • Proficient with Salesforce.com and Microsoft office products.
