The Borssele windfarms (NL)are fully operational since January 2021 and serviced from Ostend, where the Eneco Asset Management & Operations teamis based. Your result areas are safety & compliance, operational performance of the windfarm and financial performance. You act as a SPOC towards the project director of the windfarm. These are your main responsibilities:

• Managing a local team of 4 direct reports, while taking care of their wellbeing. Managing the Ostend office facilities.
• Safe operation of the windfarm, contribute to a pro-active safety culture.
• Coordinate activities between the Wind Turbine (WTG) team in Ostend and the Balance of Plant (BoP) team in IJmuiden.
• Ensure that all warranties and entitlements under the supply agreements are used to their capacity.
• Ensure that all assets and work activities adhere to the applicable permits.
• Support contract management and commercial management of the asset.
• Initiate annual owner’s inspections and follow-up.
• Perform statistical trend analysis of the production disruption causes as well as the maintenance and inspection activities.
• Discuss with maintenance suppliers any observed deviations and request evidence.
• Monthly reporting related to HSEQ, production, WTG availability and reliability, maintenance progress and review of the availability imbalance (Power Purchase Agreement).
• Preparing an operational year plan as basis for the annual business plan of the consortium.
• Validation of performed services of the maintenance invoices.
• Risk management according to set frameworks.
• Available to be on call 1 week out of 6.

Your Profile

• Master’s degree (or equivalent by experience) in Engineering.
• Senior experience working in Operations & Maintenance in the offshore/energy sector. Experience working for an asset owner is a real asset.
• Proven track record as people manager. Your strength is your ability to connect people from different cultural backgrounds.
• You show an entrepreneurial and agile mindset in an ever-evolving technological environment.
• You combine commercial skills towards the asset owner and thorough negotiation skills towards the suppliers and services providers.
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing Flemish and English.
