DESCRIPTION OF TASKS

Non-exhaustive list of the tasks to be carried out:
Provide expertise in the area of Oracle database technologies.
Provide expertise in the area of data processing.
Provide expertise in Database SQL performance tuning.
Analyse and maintain complex application logic in PL/SQL.
Design and implement solutions for monitoring of data consistency.
Provide optimal design solutions to improve system quality and efficiency.
Carry out investigations of application issues both from technical and functional perspectives.
Maintain technical documentations for reference purposes.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

The following knowledge and skills are requested:
The experience stated in the framework contract for the requested profile.
  • Practical experience proving the capability to execute the tasks described in §2.
  • Very good knowledge of English (spoken, written).
  • Rapid self-starting capability and experience in team working.
  • Proactive attitude, communicative (i.e. good listener) and customer-oriented.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Knowledge in areas enumerated below:
Expert level knowledge in Oracle DBMS (ver: 11g , 12c, 19c) in particular:
  • Development of SQL and PL/SQL scripts.
  • SQL Performance monitoring and optimisation.
  • Administration and configuration.
Good knowledge in of UNIX shell scripts. Not essential, but nice to have:
  • Knowledge of APEX.
  • Administration of Weblogic middleware solutions (Application servers, OSB).
  • Knowledge of JEE (development and architecture of java web based applications, application servers, JEE security, XML, JMS and web services technology, etc.).
