What to Expect Tesla is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to work on one of the most progressive vehicle brands in the world. You will be part of Tesla’s Pre-Delivery Inspection Team (PDI Team). This team is based at the PDI Hub in Zeebrugge. Our team supports with the inspection of the car and administrative follow-up. All tasks completed by our team to ensure that all Tesla vehicles are in perfect shape to be handed over our highly-valued customer. In the position of PDI Vehicle Technician you will perform a wide range of repairs on our vehicles, this can be a task such as but not limited to changing a window or tire, building in a new seat or fixing software related issue. This position requires cooperation with other departments within Tesla, therefore the ideal candidate will possess both the technical acumen and the ability to communicate with all levels within and outside the organization. With English as company language, it is important that you are able to communicate in this language. According to business needs, this role will require travel. What You’ll Do
  • Inspection and according repair / rectification of Tesla electric vehicles
  • Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI)
  • Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools
  • Perform equipment inspections, adjustments
  • Maintain records of time, expenses and materials
  • Help maintain cleanliness of shop floor
  • Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines
  • Support technicians in other parts of the business where needed What You’ll Bring
  • Experience with methods, techniques, parts, tools and materials used in the maintenance and repair of vehicles including testing, diagnosis, HVAC service, brakes, testing and repair of electronic systems and modules
  • Experience with operating and maintenance of a wide variety of hand, power and shop tools. As well as experience with test equipment and scan tools, following diagnostics
  • Experience with A/C preferred
  • Excellent English oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with all stakeholders
  • Maintain and perform top level professional integrity and appearance as an automotive technician
  • Flexibility towards a fast-changing environment and processes as well as flexibility towards working in shifts on diverse times (morning - evening) based on business needs
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and insurable
