We are looking for a skilled and proactive Freelance Platform Engineer to join the team of a Global Company in Anderlecht. As a Platform Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in implementing, and maintaining advanced analytics platform. Your expertise in Linux, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, R/Python scripting, and Azure Cloud will contribute to the improvement and seamless operation of the systems. In addition, you will be responsible for creating tutorials, demos, and knowledge base articles to empower end users in effectively leveraging the platform.

Technical Requirements

  • Proficient in Linux
  • Experience with Kubernetes orchestration, docker and containerization, Helm deployments
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines for containers
  • Working knowledge of scripting languages such as R and Python
  • Competence in managing Azure Cloud services
  • Knowledge of Posit Teams is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Implement platform enhancements
  • Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of the platform
  • Create and deploy container images and manage the lifecycle for Kubernetes clusters for containerized applications
  • Utilize Azure DevOps for continuous integration and deployment processes
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly
  • Independently manage and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for technical teams
  • Create user-friendly tutorials, demos, and knowledge base articles
