Position

OVERALL MISSION:

The PR & Media Manager will be responsible for guiding and executing the strategic PR and Media development of the Benelux & Nordics Region through a strong product and company knowledge, strong story-telling, communication and organizational skills. Develop relationship with headquarters in Paris, be aware of PR and Media strategies and guidelines developed at a central level to be able to monitor the adaptation and implementation of the strategies at a regional and local scale

DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIES:

PRODUCT PR MANAGEMENT

  • Manage storytelling activities towards the press/agencies about relevant product, product categories through a strong knowledge of the product, the brand and the company
  • Oversee shopping requests, press sets and press rack room management
  • Oversee the PR activity for the region: tools implementation within the countries, story-telling and channel selection, press visits and press interviews, managed together with agencies
  • Provide a dynamic and responsive support to countries/agencies regarding PR activities, provides regular feedback on publication performance and assist our stores/agencies to define action plans accordingly / support, feedback and action plan given to local agencies
  • Support actively in coordination with Clienteling/merchandising/store during launches and events in order to secure excitement during animations
  • Provide qualitative comments on coverages to management on monthly basis

PR STRATEGY IMPLEMENTATION

  • Develop relationships with Headquarters in Paris, you are aware of PR strategies and guidelines developed at a Central level and monitors their adaptation and implementation at a regional and local scale

PR PLANS

  • Ensure that product images are communicated in line with corporate standards, guidelines and strategy
  • Develop quantitative and qualitative PR plans
  • Compose and edits press releases
  • Develop visibility with influencers in each and every country we are present
  • Support the stores with key recruitment of new clients and liaise with the stores to bridge and optimize sales to influencers/celebrities/VICs whenever there is an opportunity
  • Represent the brand in local events (external to LV and internal)

PRESS DAYS

  • Support with press days
  • Monitor the organization of Press events within Louis Vuitton
  • Participate in the Press rack order in liaison with local management and Paris

BUDGET

  • Build the PR & Media budget for the region and adhere to and control spendings according to guidelines


Profile

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Extensive analytical, advanced organizational and time management skills
  • Strong command of English; knowledge of at least one regional language is an advantage
  • Proven luxury retail experience required
  • Previous experience working in a similar position is a strong advantage
  • Proactivity, flexibility and initiative essential
  • Agile and highly motivated to work in demanding environment
