Job Description:

WorxInvest is looking for a driven and entrepreneurial Private Equity Intern to join its Direct Investments team for a period of 3 to 4 months, starting in August or September 2025. As an intern, you will become an integral part of a small, experienced investment team and gain hands-on exposure to evaluating new investment opportunities and supporting the monitoring of our existing portfolio.

You will work on company and sector analyses, valuation exercises, financial modelling, and assist in the preparation of investment memos and due diligence processes. This internship offers a unique opportunity to develop practical skills in a dynamic and professional private equity environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct financial and business analyses to support new investment opportunities
• Perform valuation work and build financial models
• Carry out sector and market research, summarizing key insights for the investment team
• Assist in due diligence processes and preparation of investment documents
• Support portfolio monitoring through data analysis and reporting
• Prepare presentation materials for internal and external use

Qualifications:

• Recent graduate with a Master’s degree in Business Engineering, Finance, Economics or a related field. Outstanding academics required.
• Available full-time for 3 to 4 months starting in August or September 2025
• At least one prior internship in corporate finance, strategy consulting, investment banking or private equity is required
• Demonstrated interest in corporate finance and investing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; able to navigate new A.I. trends
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written
• Proactive and eager to learn, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
