Job Description

The day-to-day work is practical in nature and includes development, optimization, and upscaling of electrochemical lab processes for the fabrication of nanostructured materials.

The assignment

  • Optimization of electrodeposition processes on lab-scale.
  • Upscaling of electrochemical processes from lab-scale to 200mm.
  • Definition of protocols for electrochemical bath make-up.
  • Process control (electrochemical baths and products).

Location: Leuven

Candidate Description

  • PhD degree in science/engineering or a Master’s degree with relevant experience.
  • Experience in a (electro-)chemical lab (specifically with electrodeposition).
  • Experience with chemical analysis methods (titration, spectrophotometry, ...).
