Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!

Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!

Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

This role focuses on the upstream cell culture aspect of the biopharmaceutical manufacturing process. By leveraging your strong scientific and technical expertise, you will actively contribute to technology transfer activities, process improvement initiatives, and ongoing monitoring of existing processes.

Your missions

• Facilitate the technology transfer of new drug substance manufacturing processes from development laboratories to large-scale GMP manufacturing facilities.
• Conduct process fit-gap analyses and define process control strategies to ensure readiness for clinical batch production.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation, including media batch sheets and sampling plans.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance yield and robustness while generating data packages for large-scale implementation.
• Provide technical support for existing manufacturing processes through data analysis, study protocols, and impactful reports.
• Investigate significant deviations, assessing their impact on processes and products.
  

Your profile

• PhD or Master’s degree in Life Sciences
• Hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture processes; knowledge of purification processes is a plus.
• Proficiency in statistical and data trending tools like JMP, Statistica, Matlab, or Simca is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Fluent in oral and written English, suitable for a global workplace.
• A team player with strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
• Adaptability and flexibility to manage dynamic work demands, including occasional shifts outside typical hours.
• Exceptional analytical abilities with an eye for detail, enabling precise problem-solving.
