To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Procurement Officer.

In this role you are responsible for the procurement for various Business Units including ComBU, Daimler, BMW and others.

Your responsibilities:

  • Send release to suppliers on a weekly basis
  • Contact suppliers on a daily basis to track orders, shipments in transit and critical parts
  • Take care of integrity of material master/MRP parameters
  • Exchange with production planners with regards to critical parts in order to minimize costs and premium freights
  • Optimize inventory levels and avoid shortages and obsolete stock
  • Ensure proper complaint management to the suppliers
  • Handle blocked invoices due to quantity discrepancies

Your profile:

  • Degree in Economics / Logistics or comparable education or equal by experience
  • Working experience in a logistic environment, ideally in the automotive sector is a plus
  • Business fluent in Dutch and English (verbal and written), German is a plus
  • Very good IT- and analytical skills
  • Good knowledge of MS-Office and ERP-Tools, SAP is desirable
  • Self-confident manner and excellent communication skills
  • Assertiveness and stress resistance
