About ScaleReady:

ScaleReady is a Joint Venture formed by Bio-Techne, Fresenius Kabi, and Wilson Wolf. Combining selected offerings from the three partners, the ScaleReady cell therapy manufacturing platform consists of tools and reagents for cell culture, cell activation, gene editing, and cell processing.

Our mission is to help realize the potential of cell and gene therapies by transforming the way T cells are manufactured. The ScaleReady platform is flexible, able to generate small and large cell doses and is easily optimized for centralized or de-centralized manufacturing. Our goal is to make the prospect of T cell therapy practical and viable not just for the hundreds, but for the hundreds of thousands of patients.

Position Summary

The product application specialist will serve customers from both a sales and application standpoint, being the specialist and trainer for instrumentation as well a closed system cell culture. You have a good understanding of the cell therapy market, knows what is important for early-stage translational customers as well for those close to commercialization . You hold a background within research, are outgoing and like supporting clients on their journey towards a common goal – making cell therapies accessible to more patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Efficiently and creatively utilizing internal resources to become a trusted source of information to Cell and Gene Therapy customers and prospective customers
  • Explaining and delivering technical introductions and value propositions for all ScaleReady products
  • Tailor recommendations for each customer for the relevant ScaleReady offerings
  • Serving as a trusted technical resource for existing and new customers
  • Developing intimate knowledge of customer manufacturing operations with an eye on opportunities to suggest improvements
  • Developing account growth strategies for existing relationships
  • Building strong relationships through prompt written and verbal communication with customers
  • Maintain an up to date CRM
  • Staying current on market trends and customer insights to support new product development efforts and commercial strategies
  • Maintaining awareness of competitive products and impact upon ScaleReady offerings
  • Accurately forecast customer demand across all portfolio products
  • Promoting customer satisfaction by ensuring timely completion of quotes, proposals, inquiry responses, complaint responses, order processing, and after-sales support utilizing all available resources
  • Handling customer issues and coordinate as needed with internal support teams to provide timely response
  • Participating in the identification and selection of marketing opportunities, such as, trade shows, website & online promotions, advertising, technical brochures, user group meetings etc.
  • Attending industry meetings and conferences on occasion as needed
  • Delivering customized, technical support to potential and existing ScaleReady customers


Qualifications

Education and Experience:
  • Master’s Degree or PhD in Life Sciences such as Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Medicine
  • Experience of, or background in; immunology, immunotherapy or T cell therapy
  • Hands on lab experience
  • Proven history of self-management
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Embody a unique blend of business, social, and technical acumen
  • Strong desire and proven track record of going the extra mile to exceed expectations
  • Willingness to embrace training and do what it takes to become deeply knowledgeable about the technical and business elements of the field
  • Self-motivated and disciplined
