Your responsibilities


Purpose of the function :

The Product Development Manager is part of the Development department. He/she participates in development projects for new products/processes and/or methods and in the improvement of existing products/processes and/or methods. He/she establishes test protocols, carries out experiments, conducts studies, collects and interprets the results and draws up analysis reports in connection with the development of new formulations and studies on new products.

The Product Development Manager is mainly involved in the Design and Development process but also as an actor in some processes as mentioned in the activities below.

Activities :

In his function, the Product Development Manager will :

  • Participate in new product development projects;
  • Establish test protocols;
  • Carry out laboratory experiments and studies;
  • Collect, interpret, validate results and write analysis reports in relation to the development of new formulations, in vitro and in vivo studies on new products
  • Participate in the valorisation of research and development results through the writing of scientific publications and/or patents;
  • Participate in the writing of pre-clinical studies;

As a project leader within the Steering Committee, for the activities assigned during the planning phase of a project:

  • Project management from A to Z
  • Identifying development opportunities
  • Presenting the results of product development activities
  • Ensuring compliance with deadlines and budget
  • Inform the SC of risks, problems and schedule delays
  • Participate in decision making
  • Propose solutions to identified problems and risks

Education and skills required :

Education: Master in Biotechnology, Chemistry, Polymer Science

Skills required: Report writing, ability to synthesise, analytical skills, curiosity, thoroughness,
