Extra Horizon is a young, dynamic & fast paced Med Tech company based in Hasselt, Belgium. As a spin- out from FibriCheck, and backed by experienced Venture Capital, Extra Horizon has developed a game-changing cloud solution for medical software applications.

The Extra Horizon solution is now being commercialised as a solution for the fast evolving and growing digital health space. Specifically in the area of in-vitro diagnostics, where digitalisation and the shift to home-use is taking place, there is a huge potential and opportunity to be captured. Our solution provides a compliant cloud infrastructure to the diagnostics, R&D, biotech, pharma and MedTech industries to enable their entry into the digitalisation, but also speed up their time to market.

The key expertise of Extra Horizon is the design and development of cloud infrastructure that resolves regulatory, GDPR/HIPAA, and cybersecurity challenges for our customers.

We are looking for a Product Manager to manage our core product: Extra Horizon, and maximise its potential.

Extra Horizon is a medical backend-as-a-service. We provide this backend to a wide variety of Medtech companies and are quickly growing our portfolio.

We work together with the customers to select the right modules and finetune Extra Horizon to their needs. Optionally, we can provide a one-stop-solution through collaboration with our integration partners who provide custom development of mobile or web applications.

• Make an impact on the lives of an ever increasing amount of people by offering top-notch compliant cloud infrastructure to our Medtech customers.
• Create happy customers by constantly maximising the value of the platform.
• Take ownership of the product from start to finish, from idea to delivery.
• You conduct market research, guided by our sales and marketing team, talk to prospects and customers to understand their needs.
• You align and motivate the team, driving it forward by defining a clear vision of what the product should evolve to and setting the delivery milestones to get there.
• You define the scope of the product cycle (= 6 weeks) which will create the biggest added value for our current and future customers.
• You guide the team to a successful delivery throughout our product cycle’s and can rely on a highly skilled team in every step of the process: marketing, sales, architects, software engineers, …

• You have a proven ability to drive the product process from plan to launch, preferably in an agile environment.
• You have a strong technical affinity and understand core concepts of a software back-end and are familiar with technical protocols like oAuth2.0, OpenID connect, HTTP, DNS,… or you are able to read, understand these technical concepts and translate their effects to our product.
• You are self-organised, can work independently, but don’t hesitate to reach out to and collaborate with his/her team members.
• You thrive in an open, positive culture of continuous improvement, challenge the status quo, demonstrate risk taking and implement creative ideas.
• You are a team player and you leverage the knowledge of your peers to ensure the best possible solution.
• You are very result-oriented.
• You are proactive in preventing hiccups in the flow of the product cycle.
• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and are fluent in English (Dutch is a plus). You communicate very honestly and correctly to all stakeholders including colleagues, customers and partners.
