Product Owner Finance, HR and IT Data Domain

We are looking for a passionate and committed Product Owner who will lead the Finance, HR and IT team and the scope within the Data Domain. The Finance, HR and IT data team is responsible for the lifecycle of data driven solutions along the relevant business processes. As the Finance, HR and IT data domain is supporting our business operations, we are looking for a strong and experienced candidate who can lead this track.

• 
  You know your customers and your value proposition. You talk to several business entities and their departments to understand their data needs. You are their key single point of contact for the Process Council for Finance and HR. You secure demand intake and prioritize the backlog with the team, being end to end responsible. You define a solution for a business problem, together with your team members, and other supporting people or services. Understanding the business processes is crucial in this role. In this function you will report regularly on different levels within the organization. You help in establishing short and long-term data domain roadmaps.
• You lead the team and activities within the Finance, HR and IT data domain. You have accountability for the data objects in scope, securing governance through the Domain Stewards within the business and the data application stewards. This with regards to roadmaps, ongoing projects, as well as day-to-day operations. Hence, you will have both operational and budgetary responsibilities. You demonstrate good communications and negotiation skills as you also need to interact with suppliers. You make sure your scope is in line with business and data strategy.
• You lead projects from feasibility study to closure. You work in close cooperation with different people (like key users, project members and management) to analyze the business requirements in scope and to translate them into data solutions that can be developed or implemented. You guarantee a qualitative delivery in line with agreed timing and budget. You make an aftercare structure available for your projects. You actively secure data governance, curating data and driving towards enterprise data objects, thus service one single point of truth for your domain.
• You empower. You enable your customers through data literacy programs and self-service. You provide data objects to the business which can be used by either business analyst or divisional development teams to work jointly on one single point of truth for your domain. You capture best practices and increase the data maturity within your domain.
• You know your workforce. You are an excellent people manager. In your role as team leader you will manage a team consisting of technical and functional people. You show the ability to develop team competences, coach your team members and coordinate team activities. You will have team members onsite as well as offsite, either internal or external.

You will have the opportunity to work with a highly motivated international team in a challenging and very dynamic environment. As such you will be part of our internal project team working in the Data Domain securing data and analytics demands. Occasional travel may be required. You will report to the Competence Center Manager for the Data Domain.

Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have a good blend of business and data technical skills. Specific requirements for this position include:

• You have a university degree in business, engineering, economics, informatics or equal by experience
• You have strong leadership skills next to very strong analytical skills
• You have a proven track record within the domain of Finance and/ or HR
• You have at least 5 years of experience in project management
• You have at least 3 years of experience in data governance and support
• You have at least 3 years of experience in people management
• Experience in SQL, Databricks, Power BI among other data components in Azure are strong assets
• Experience in business case development is an asset
• You have good negotiation skills
• You have an excellent level of English
• Local language skills are considered as a strong asset
