Product Owner (on-site, Brussels/ Brlgium)

We are looking for Expert Product Owner to work on-site for Brussel`s office of European Union.

• 
  Deep understanding of Data technologies and eco-systems.
• Proficient in Agile ways of working or experience as a Product Owner (certifications are advantageous)
• Strong soft skills, motivation in combination with a high ability for abstraction. Rapid self-starting capability.
• Excellent knowledge broker, adept at roadmaps and ability to define and evolve data products and services.
• In depth knowledge of EAC’s programmes is necessary or would have to be acquired proactively to achieve goals and desired objectives for the projects.
• Excellent knowledge in one or more domains is required for the function (data warehousing, data transformation & architecture, data lakes, data analytics, data management and governance, data quality control, data science or advanced statistics, data virtualization, cloud-based business intelligence design);
• Good knowledge of tools & technology supporting data warehouses (relational database, SQL, QliSense, NPrinting, BODS);
• Good knowledge on performance monitoring and end-to-end KPI production;
• Quality champion: ability to apply high standards of quality, upgrade operations practices for high level of service, and reliable data & statistics;
• Capability to write clear and structured technical and non-technical documents and deliver effective presentations;
• Ability to lead and participate in multi-lingual meetings (working groups, task forces),
• Excellent communication skills, ability to understand and be understood, to analyze and synthesise issues, tackle complex problems and follow-up resolution

• Proven experience with large, enterprise-level multi-user Information Systems
• 3+ years of experience in business intelligence/data management or analytics
• Problem-solver, with an analytical mind and outstanding stakeholder management skills.
• 3 years experience of planning and executing in an agile framework.
• Have a passion for understanding complex data and an ability to draw conclusions from the analyses.
• 3 years experience in Agile, performing analysis with use-case specifications or user stories.
• Good hands-on knowledge of Data Management and Data Governance.
• At least 5 years of specific expertise in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Integration / virtualisation, Data Modelling, ETL/ELT, dashboards, data virtualisation, analytical processing or data mining systems.
• Knowledge in business intelligence tools and Qlik products (Qlikview, Qlik Sense, NPrinting, Qlik GeoAnalytics) is an asset.
• Experience in DataOps, knowledge of data science tools and theory (including elements of machine learning), or cloud analytics is an advantage.
• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Statistics, or another technical field is an advantage
