As a Product Purchaser for Hydraulic Components, you are responsible for the procurement, development, and maintenance of a range of hydraulic components such as valves, pumps, cylinders, hoses, and related accessories. These components are essential for ensuring reliable machine performance, optimal energy transfer, and long-term durability. You manage your own product portfolio and handle the purchasing of hydraulic components from suppliers worldwide.

Your Role and Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for a product range of hydraulic components.
  • Becoming proficient in and a specialist of your global product range is essential.
  • You manage your global supplier portfolio and maintain strong relationships with them. You analyze price increases, identify opportunities, and negotiate when needed.
  • Leading a project across various TVH branches to globally standardize the product range doesn’t scare you. This involves the necessary data analyses and reporting.
  • You collaborate with multilingual colleagues from sister branches to launch new components, lead marketing campaigns, or initiate them.
  • You enjoy the freedom to make independent decisions and work autonomously, while always being able to rely on your team.
  • You manage and ensure your components are presented in a clear and organized way on our various e-commerce platforms.

Your Profile

  • Experience in hydraulics and technical knowledge of components (e.g. valves, pumps, cylinders) is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of CE regulations is a plus.
  • You have excellent English & Dutch skills.
  • You have a commercial mindset, easily make connections, and are a strong communicator.
  • You are proficient in Excel.
  • You are eager to learn and persistent.
  • You take initiative and thrive in an entrepreneurial setting; negotiations don’t intimidate you.
  • You are a true team player.
  • You are analytical, autonomous, project-driven, and structured.
