The function of QA Engineer is a unique opportunity to

Contribute in a meaningful way to the quality of our graphic editor software applications.

After all, as QA Engineer you will be actively involved in the product development from the early design stages on, in close collaboration with the R&D Engineers, and you will set up and run manual and automated tests to guard the overall quality of the software. In this role you will also interact with product management, documentation, customer support and UX teams in order to deliver the best possible products and services.

Your responsibilities as a QA Engineer at Esko include:
  • Helping to define and validate the behavior of new features as part of the scrum team
  • Ensuring the quality level of the existing software by creating, documenting, running and updating manual and automated tests
  • Reporting deviations and validating bug fixes
  • Analyzing incoming customer issues
  • Sharing knowledge and looking for continuous improvement
We are looking for a professional who is:

Your Education and/or Background Experience will include:
  • A background in or knowledge of the graphic arts industry is highly recommended
  • In particular knowledge of prepress, Windows & Mac, Esko products and Adobe products (Acrobat, Illustrator, Photoshop) are an asset
  • Proficiency in English is a requirement (speaking/writing)
  • Knowledge of software testing theory, application and tools are an advantage
  • A general interest in IT is appreciated
