Ontex is a worldwide developer and manufacturer of personal hygiene products for baby’s, women and adults. Our highly recognised products are sold in more than 100 countries. We manufacture own brands as well as private label products for our retail customers.

To Strengthen Our Supply Chain Department, We Are Looking For a Motivated (m/f)

At Ontex Eeklo, 500 colleagues are responsible for the daily high-tech development and production of sanitary towels, panty liners and baby diapers.

Raw Material Planner

As a Raw Material Planner, you ensure a smooth procurement and inbound of raw materials, taking into account stock targets and service level agreements.

Your Main Tasks
  • Placing orders and/or calls;
  • Continuous follow-up of open orders to anticipate where necessary;
  • Day-to-day contacts with assigned suppliers to ensure on-time delivery;
  • Stock management and avoidance of obsolete stock;
  • Improving the delivery performance of the suppliers;
  • Correct SAP use and maintenance of master data for assigned materials;
  • Follow up phase in/phase out processes and new projects;
  • Manage blocked stocks and raw material complaints;
  • Acting as the link between production planning and suppliers
  • Maintaining contacts with central purchasing and sales;
  • Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager.
Mission and Key Tasks

Background and Experience

We are looking for
  • You combine a Bachelor or a Master’s degree with a similar procurement or planning experience in an industrial environment.
  • You have a thorough knowledge of an ERP system (preferably SAP) and MS Office (especially Excel), next to good language skills (Dutch, English, French).
  • You are customer-oriented and you know how to drive change. You are eager to learn and you have a big interest in the complete value chain of a company.
