An exciting Regional E-commerce role has just become available at one of the well-known food FMCG companies. Reporting directly to the General Manager Sales, this is a role for an Ecommerce expert. The role will be based in the area of Ghent.

About the Regional E-commerce Role:

This new, dedicated role within the company is focused on setting up and building out a solid business model with Amazon within Continental Europe. You will develop the growth plan and drive strategic relationship for Amazon as key customer for all brands in Continental Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will develop a strategic and ambitious growth plan for Amazon EU
  • You will be the end responsible for the full Amazon EU P&L and all Amazon related activities including supply chain
  • You will manage a Digital Trade Marketeer Amazon to develop the Amazon digital advertising activities
  • You will guide joint business planning process focusing on mutual profitability
  • You will manage day-to-day business operations on Amazon
  • You will orchestrate, together with the Digital Trade Marketeer Amazon, the activation strategy on Amazon
  • You will share best practices with the Amazon Business Owners US & UK and with the Central E-Commerce Acceleration Team

To succeed in the role of Regional E-commerce you will need to be a strong communicator and team player with partners, line managers and the team.

Key Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience within Sales/Key Account Management and minimum 2 years experience in FMCG E-Commerce
  • Knowledge of E-Commerce fundamentals within retail digital platform, with specific knowledge on Amazon (Vendor Central) required
  • Hold a Master’s degree in economics, sales, international business, marketing,…
  • International experience is a plus
  • Drive results on short and long term
  • Commercial mindset and skilled negotiator
  • Entrepreneurial spirit: gets energy from creating new opportunities, looking for new and different inroads
  • Ability to take strong ownership within this new role
  • Can work independently in a flexible way and willing to go the extra mile
