Overview:
Bricsys is a global provider of engineering design software brought to market under the BricsCAD brand, powering 2D drafting, 3D modeling, mechanical design, and building information modeling (BIM). Bricsys wants to become the industry leader and reference in the complete design market and is focused on providing a robust and innovative CAD software platform and industry leading support at a compelling price. Founded in 2002, Bricsys is a founding member of the Open Design Alliance. Since 2018, Bricsys is part of Hexagon AB. Bricsys is currently looking for a Release Program Manager to contribute to the product development across the entire BricsCAD product family.
Responsibilities:
As a Release Program Manager at Bricsys, you closely work with the whole development team. You play a key role in making sure that every release is a success. You take the lead to coordinate releases, monitor the progress of the releases, manage the risks and organize the monthly progress updates. Key responsibilities are to
  • program manage the regular releases across the 4 development tribes
  • track the release progress and identify risks
  • actively manage the release risks or any ongoing risks
  • overview the release change process and escalations
  • program manage cross-tribe projects.
  • organize the monthly progress meetings with the business
  • organize the quarterly business review meetings
By doing this, as a Release Program Manager, you will be part of a larger, international team that aims to develop an industry leading, very user-friendly product family for customers in the AEC, GIS, Civil engineering, and mechanical CAD markets.
Qualifications:
  • You have 3+ years of professional experience of program management or release coordination in agile software product development.
  • You are a team player
  • You are organized and structured.
  • Honoring commitments is your second nature.
  • You are an excellent communicator to different audiences
  • You are a good networker in company, you can help to move things forward through influence
  • You realistically plan your own work and work independently and reliably.
  • Full professional proficiency in English.
  • Some affinity with C++ development is a plus
  • Some affinity with Computer Aided Design (CAD), Architecture (BIM), Engineering, 3D sketching skills, Computational Geometry is a plus
