A new position has been created at our production site in Mouscron. This is one of our 3 modern production sites in Belgium ánd the only French Pastry factory of the Lantmännen Unibake Group, where we create both sweet as savory products.

To realize our ambitious Capex-strategy of our production site Mouscron, we are hiring an ambitious Reliability Engineer, willing to enhance his/her leadership skills.

As a key member of our Mouscron Site Team your overall objective is to improve the overall reliability & availability of our production facilities and utilities.

What sets this opportunity apart is your involvement in the design and installation stages of projects for new assets and modifications of existing ones. We have an ambitious expansion strategy that is linked with significant Capex-investments.

Primary Areas Of Responsibility

Long Term Asset Planning

• Drawing up the life cycle & maintenance plans of the production and utilities equipment
• Monitoring the life cycle of all equipment

Project Engineering

• Developing engineering solutions to repetitive failures and all other problems that adversely affect plant operations.
• Participating in the development of design and installation specifications along with commissioning plans. Participates in the development of criteria for and evaluation of equipment and technical MRO suppliers and technical maintenance service providers. Develops acceptance tests and inspection criteria.
• Participating in the final check out of new installations. This includes factory and site acceptance testing that will assure adherence to functional specifications.

Maintenance Planning & Management

• Drawing up & updating technical plans, schemes & industrial programming
• Plan & prioritize the maintenance activities
• Setting-up SHE procedures & guidelines
• Steering virtual team of subcontractors, technicians,…, and colleagues from Production, Quality, NPD,…

Your profile

• In addition to your Master’s Degree Engineering - preferably in Electro Mechanics, Electronics and/or Automation – you have minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably as a reliability engineer or role with relevant technical experience in the process industry.
• Knowledge within the food sector is an asset, but more important is your thorough knowledge of PLC-systems in combination with multiple techniques & processes such as "cooling, compressed air, electricity, steam, drives, hydraulics" & AutoCAD // Health- & Safety regulations
• You communicate fluently in French & English - any additional language is an advantage.
