Sourcing Specialist and Data Analyst

Your New Company

John Cockerill Renewables has been heavily involved in the energy transition for several years. The group is positioned as a world leader in the production of green hydrogen and Solar towers. John Cockerill Renewables has four business units, Solar & Thermal, Hydrogen, Integrated Renewable Solutions (IRS) and Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC). Cross functionally working between Solar& Thermal, IRS and EPC, the Procurement Data and Market Analyst will support the constant growth of customers and associated projects.

Your New Role

The Procurement Sourcing Specialist and Data and Market Analyst is supporting Procurement Department in designing, implementing and maintaining metrics and dashboard which will help stakeholders to monitor performances in terms of procurement and bring support to business to improve market intelligence and knowledge.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who will meet important Procurement milestones, can hit the ground running and work as a self-starter who embraces a teamworking mindset in a well-established organization and great potential business.

Report to the Strategic Sourcing Manager, this role is strategic to help John Cockerill Renewable to pursue its growth. The Procurement Data and Market Analyst ensures that database(s) he is working on is fully understandable by all stakeholders.

What You Will Do

• Develop sustainable, best practice data analysis techniques that leverage numerous data sources.
• Gain deep understanding of John Cockerill Renewables’ materials, equipment, components, and services develop market surveillance and trend reaction tools.
• Design, implement and maintain dashboards and business intelligence tools to support procurement performance and growth.
• Create KPIs and other reporting for procurement based on the needs of the organization.
• Data preparation and Analysis for calculating weekly/monthly KPI and publish results to the business stakeholders
• Analyse trends/root cause/impacts of process KPI values and communicate the insights to the stakeholders and suggest improvements to existing processes.
• Source globally new partners of goods and services.
  

What You’ll Need To Succeed

• 3 years’ experience in creating interfaces between business and IT, preferably experience with digital procurement analytic tools and market survey.
• Bachelor in procurement, purchasing, finance.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, SAP or big data tools.
• Time management, multitasking and organizational skills.
• Must be able to function with a sense of urgency and be able to be flexible with day to day responsibilities
• Experience working with MS Office Suite, Power BI...
