Functieomschrijving

La Lorraine Bakery Group is a 100% Belgian family-owned company active in the milling and baking sectors. We have a strong ambition to remain invested in our international growth, therefore also our IT department is expanding.

As SAP Developer, you will be responsible for SAP development and liaising with the IT business application teams to understand the identified business needs.

Function:
  • As SAP Developer, you make sure all developments on the SAP Platform are done according to SAP best practices. You write technical specifications, help in the development of the solution and assist in the training of your colleagues.
  • You build web-based applications which do interact with a service-oriented architecture exposed by an integration layer connecting to a variety of systems like ERP, DMS and CMS.
  • Develop new applications or modify existing ones based on the application development lifecycle.
  • Create and maintain documentation around processes and workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with functional analysts, architects and project managers.
  • Collaborate with customers and understand their needs and translate those requests into solutions.
  • Ensure optimum efficiency and functionality of software applications.
In this function you report directly to the SAP Technology & Development Manager.

Profiel
  • You have minimum 5 years experience in a simular function.
  • A strong analytical mind with proven problem-solving abilities, process-oriented and you are a conceptual thinker with a focus on finding solutions.
  • You are motivated by varied projects and diversified work
  • You are eager to learn and to develop your knowledge by following trends in the development landscape. You have an open mind and the will to research and apply new tools/products.
  • You have strong knowledge of and hands-on experience with SAP Fiori/SAPUI5/OData /Fiori Elements.
  • You have experience with IDOCs, Adobe Forms, Workflow, webservices (SOAP/REST), Web Dynpro, …
  • SAP ABAP has little secrets for you
  • Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform and recent SAP S/4HANA releases & ABAP CDS is a big plus. Experience in low-code platform Mendix or the will to learn it.
  • You speak Dutch and are fluent in English.
