YOUR TASKS

You will work on various research projects on pharmaceutical Engeneering and specific for extending 2D PBM modelling for wet granulation. Your specific tasks include:

• You extend a 2D PBM model for wet granulation
• Supporting the digitalisation track within CESPE from BIOMATH
• Supporting ongoing PhD research concerning pharmaceutical engineering and Automation of methods for data quality improvement (filtering, outlier detection, missing values filling).
• Develop both mechanistic and data-driven models for Pharmaceutical processes and modelling of these
• Supervising master students
• Supervising PhD students
• You actively participate in writing new project proposals

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• You have a PhD degree in bio-science engineering, chemical engineering, process engineering or similar
• You have good experience and knowledge of the wet granulation process as well as its modelling with 2D PBM
• You have knowledge with pharmaceutical processes and their modelling
• You have good knowledge of machine learning and data analysis techniques.
• You are a quick learner and are able to conduct independent research
• You are fluent in English, both speaking and writing
• You are motivated and dedicated

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU

• We offer you a contract of a 4 month duration for 100% employment as postdoctoral researcher.
• Your contract will start on 1/01/2023 at the earliest.
• Your remuneration will be determined by salary scale PD1 to PD4. Click here for more information about our salary scales.
